Polyethylene Glycol

Polyethylene Glycol is used in different pharmaceutical formulations to control melting point and viscosity level of produced items. Known for its low molecular mass, offered glycol is used as emulsifier, solubilizing factor, stabilizer and solvent. It is utilized as finishing agent in paper and pulp producing industry. In rubber processing arena, it is used to improve plasticity and lubricating properties of rubber. It also acts as reliable medium during organic synthesis process. Polyethylene Glycol also acts as an effective electrostatic agent in pesticide and paper producing industries. Its high molecular weight based version is used to enhance viscosity of liquid PEG that has low molecular mass.
